The Perfect Leader
I don't know how many of you guy's have read the book. It comes in the charter package. I have just started to read it and so far I have received some great information that has caused me to think about how I represent my self as a charter director and as a Christian. There is a lot of food for thought in what I have read so far. Here are some things that really grabbed me.
In the chapter 'Integrity' ; food for thought ,''God is integrity. He does not merely act with integrity ; integrity is his character. But what about us ? The biblical virtue of integrity points to a consistency between what is inside and what is outside, obetween our belief and behavior, between our words and our ways, our attitudes and our actions, our values and our practices. How do you stand? [Dan]

I too started reading this book back during deer season. I haven't gotten very far yet but it seems to be a very good tool in helping you become an effective leader.
Another good book that I have just finished (I am also teaching a class series to my chapter) is "Made To Count" by Bob Reccord. You can purchase this book through CSF's website or through www.Madetocount.com. This book helps you discover your calling and teaches you how to use it like God would want you to. Try this one out if you get a chance.

Another good book on leadership is "Handbook to Leadership" by Kenneth Boa. I have been reading this and using it for devoionals with my Seasoned Sportsmens leaders group. I think it is available on the CSF web site.
