I wanted to pose this question: If money wasn't an option, what type of big game would you go on? Where? Why would you choose that animal over other animals? I am looking for some feedback, so feel free to reply.

Sheep Hunt

I think I would go on a sheep hunt with my bow. I have seen lots of pictures and film and the landscape looks amazing. I know it's challenging but if it's a once in a lifetime hunt, it would all be worth it. I love the fact that God designed sheep to live in crazy mountainous terrian. I think a sheep hunt with my bow would be my pick.

Brown Bear hunting in Alaska was a close second.....

For me it would be elk with a bow in Alaska. A close second would be grizzly in Alaska. Although I've only been close enough to shoot a black bear in the wild, I think I would like the thrill of getting close and personal with large game.

I'd continue with my quest for a double royal slam on that "forgotten" big game animal, the turkey. I would go to the areas known for full-blooded birds and not hybrids, for reporting purposes and these hunts would, no doubt, take place in the Spring. If you've not experience out-of-state hunts, this is a good way to cut your teeth. The hunts are relatively inexpensive and the outfitters will put you on birds, I've found. I usually choose semi-guided which means they point me toward birds and I head out myself, doing my own thing while hunting. My next choice, I guess, would be a bull elk...New Mexico or maybe in a sleeper state, like Idaho. A better chance at trophy status would be why I'd consider these states. Pronghorn and muley aren't far behind on the wish list, though. (Colorado, Montana)

I believe it would be on a hunt for any member of the large "cat" family...leopard, lion, etc. - (with a crossbow) Sharon
